California and Sierra Nevada - Wild West Motorcycle Tour
British Bike Tours
Our "Wild West" motorcycle tour will start from from the amazing desert city of Las Vegas. There are lots of direct flights to Las Vegas from a number of UK International Airports and they are usually quite a bit cheaper than those to San Francisco. You will get a day to explore Las Vegas before picking up the bikes and heading West through Death Valley and then onto the infamous 73 miles long, 9200ft high Sherman Pass over the Sierra Nevada and into Sequoia National Park. From Sequoia NP we will continue on twisty mountain roads visiting Kings Canyon before heading into the world famous Yosemite National Park. From Yosemite, we will head westwards out of the mountains and into the wonderful cosmopolitan city of San Francisco. A rest day to explore this amazing city, Alcatraz, The Golden Gate Bridge, Fishermans Wharf, etc
From San Francisco we will head down Pacific Highway 1 (Big Sur - probably the best coastal road in the world) overnighting midway to take in and appreciate the beautiful pacific coastline. We will head further South down to Los Angeles and another rest day in this bustling city. Hollywood, Universal Studios are all worth a visit on your rest day.
From Los Angeles we will head East across the Joshua Tree National Park, Mojave Desert and back into Las Vegas. A final rest day in Las Vegas to explore "The Strip", Hoover Dam, and Grand Canyon before heading home with some wonderful memories. A fantastic trip of a lifetime.
